Qualified for Worlds…
The team was able to qualify for worlds at the College of Southern Maryland Competition on January 11th. We are gearing up for a complete rebuild in order to get ready for the dome.
Who We Are.
The team was founded in 2015 by a group of NOVA and George Mason students in order to continue their VEX careers and push to be world champions. With the help of the administrative staff at the Science and Technology campus, we were provided the administrative support, company connections, and a work space that was required to become a team. After two years of being under the staff at the SciTech campus, we have recently become a part of the mechanical engineering department to help further the future of the team. We would like to thank all of our sponsors that have helped further the success of the team, and we hope to continue to receive your support.
George Mason University.
This university was originally a branch of the University of Virginia, but became an independent institution in 1972. Our school’s name commemorates one of the founding father’s of the United States, who, in turn, drafted the Virginia Declaration of rights that later became the model for the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution. There are more than 34,000 students on campus from over 130 countries, making for a diverse environment that encompasses each student’s interests.
